Insider Activity Scores

Stocks Ranked by Insider Activity Score

Insider transactions can provide useful context because officers, directors and major owners may have information about the business that outside investors do not. This page ranks stocks by Wall Street Score's insider signal rather than treating any single transaction as a buy recommendation.

Stored research data; quotes and filings may be delayed Up to 25 qualifying companies shown

Educational research only—not investment advice, a recommendation, or a prediction of future performance. Rankings can change as prices, filings and company data are refreshed. Verify important information independently.

Coverage: qualifying stocks with market capitalization of at least $10 billion, complete scoring inputs, and a financial refresh within 240 days. This is a limited research universe, not a ranking of every listed company. A refresh date is not the financial reporting period. Revenue CAGR measures annualized historical growth, not a forecast. Check dividend history for the yield basis and any special payments.

How this list is built

Results are sorted by insider score using currently available insider-trading data. The insider score can incorporate the direction and pattern of activity; it should not be interpreted as a dollar-for-dollar ranking of open-market purchases.

Because this page reads from the same stock database used by Wall Street Score, it does not need a manually rewritten ranking every day. Changes in the underlying data can change which stocks qualify and their order.

How to use the ranking

Treat the list as a starting point for research. Open individual stock pages to review the underlying score components, valuation and intrinsic value, financial health, corporate-risk warnings, insider activity and other available signals before reaching your own conclusion.

Read the transaction before calling it a purchase

An insider-activity score is not a ranking of purchase dollars. Open the underlying filing and check its transaction code, date, security type, footnotes and holdings afterward. Grants, option exercises, gifts and tax withholding can change ownership without an open-market purchase. Filing dates and transaction dates answer different questions.

Put size and intent in context

Compare a transaction with the insider's existing stake and distinguish direct from indirect ownership. Hypothetically, selling 10,000 of 1 million shares is 1% of that stake; the same sale from 20,000 shares is 50%. Neither percentage reveals motive. A reported trading plan, diversification needs or tax obligations can complicate a simple bullish or bearish interpretation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does insider buying always predict higher stock prices?

No. Insider buying can be informative but is not reliably predictive on its own. Transaction type, size, timing and the insider's existing ownership all matter.

What does Insider Score mean?

It is Wall Street Score's normalized insider-activity signal based on available transaction data, not a direct count or dollar amount of purchases.
